We all LOVE poker. How can we make it better?

Welcome poker friends in Canada and world wide.

We know players in Alberta here have arguably been gaming against each other for their entire adult lives and have grown to become family. We are here to build upon that globally and create a larger casino + poker community online with CanPoker.net

A lot of things have to come together smoothly just to operate an official Alberta Poker Index points race event. From the drafting and planning of schedules, structures, dates, staffing, dealing cards well into the mornings, poker news and reporting = Our casinos put in a ton of work to make this all come together. We raise our glasses to the casino staff in Canada and globally and say thank you for an amazing job upholding the integrity of the games we love to play.

We are excited to offer value here with our annual points races. The Alberta Poker Index is free to be a part of for all players; just make the money in any tournament with a buy in of over $225 and 20+ players to be included in the statistics.

We all LOVE poker. How can we make it better?

We are thrilled that we crushed our previous goals for 2022.

Some goals for 2022 were:

- Trophy Design and Purchase (Complete)

- Collect donated prizes from Official Sponsors (Complete)

- Website Build Out Completion (Complete . changed to canpoker.net from API)

- Content Creation and Blog writers (Blog Posts and Series recaps)

- Promotion of our points race and casino events (Did very well organically)

- Continuing to update results monthly

(Our dedicated stats department is on it! Thanks to WP)

- Get our first donation to the prize pool (We can't thank Shane Brotherwood enough for this!)

2023 Goals

- Major Corporate Sponsorship (Achieved! KKPoker Canada https://kkpoker.club/Canada )

- Merchandise and Apparel

(In design with Kounterfeit Poker Apparel - KKPoker also has provided a large package of hats, sweaters, hoodies, gaming pieces, card decks)

- Increasing Prize Pool with Fundraising (This was done organically)

- Charitable Opportunities (We are mailing out free merch to members worldwide, lets look at ways we can help out our local communities in Canada)

Goals for 2024:

-Contact other casinos across Canada and look at doing a full Canada wide points race

- Build out CanPoker.net we are looking for reporters, streamers, poker enthusiasts + influencers who would like to support us. Promotion, donations from local businesses and casinos to increase our prize pools and value we bring to our poker friends and family.
